What Does She See?

My son is now 13 and when he was growing up I didn’t do much art work outside of the computer. He saw me playing music, and he would play along. We had a blast.

Now I have a little girl. 1 and a half today. I have been painting all her life. She sees my designs and doodles on the iPad. She sits on the couch and looks up at my paintings and laughs and babbles something that sounds like she knows a secret about the paintings.

Last week I was painting and she came and sat on my lap. It has so hard to paint because I couldn’t stop looking at her as she digested all that was going on in front of her. She helps to keep me light and fun when I paint.

I hope that both my kids are lucky enough to find joy in all they do.
