After a great family vacation in Maine, I’m back in The Make-Shift Studio with paint on my hands and a growing stack of new work.

I’m continuing my current project: 100 Icons—a collection of paintings inspired by people, places, animals, objects, movies, music, and the little pieces of popular culture that have found a permanent place in our collective memory. Some are obvious. Others are a little more unexpected.

I’m about halfway through the series now, and it’s been one of my favorite projects to date.

Below is a sneak peek at six of the newest paintings that will begin appearing in my eBay auctions over the coming week. As always, every piece is an original, and once it’s gone, it’s gone.
